Walker James made his arrival one month early, June 17! Despite being 4 weeks ahead of schedule, he weighed 6 lbs 12 oz.
This pregnancy was a little unique since I had placenta previa. So, Walker was delivered via c-section. Modern medicine is truly amazing! Corbin and I both were able to snuggle with him before our pediatrician came to check him out.

It didn't come as a huge surprise that Walker needed to spend some time in the nicu. He was having a little trouble breathing and keeping his body temperature up.

Ahh! So excited! Loving that sweet boy's name. Is it ok if I call him Walker James? I just love it:0)
