There is a REAL Cinderella Castle....

Anna Corbin was just beside herself that there was a REAL Cinderella castle.  Corbin's parents took us on an over the top fabulous vacation.  I continue to be amazed by their generosity.  We spent 5 glorious days laughing, saying yes to the kids, laughing some more, and basically making dreams come true.  It.was.awesome.  

There are WAY too many pictures here, but they make me happy so I'm leaving all of them.  :o) 

Well, this is a great day for a 3 year old.

yep, we had record breaking highs.....it was in the upper 80's all week.  take that snow!

this was anna corbin's first time seeing fireworks.  she smiled from ear to ear the entire time and kept saying, "oh, they are so pretty!"  

this will certainly be favorite picture forever! 

Chesson got to drive our boat!  She gave him a note saying he was officially a skipper.  This means on the boat ride back to our hotel he definitely tried to show it to our actual skipper to get boat driving privileges.

Sarah was nothing short of super-mom while we were there.  I punked out and left Walker with my mom for the trip.  Big shout out to Gra-Gra and Papa for taking great care of him!  Sarah didn't miss a beat.  Sweet baby Sidney was worn, carried, strolled, fed, and changed seamlessly as we made our way through the parks...and you would have thought Sarah was just out for a leisurely stroll at home.  She didn't break a sweat, she smiled, she acted like it was no big deal.....What an incredible family to spend a week with!!

Corbin's Birthday

God Bless this man.  Seriously.  We do not give him much attention.  I rarely can get my act together enough to cook dinner (hey Chipotle)...so pulling off any kind of birthday celebration seemed unlikely.  His birthday fell during a busy time at work and a full week of late night meeting.  Thankfully, the kids were determined to have a party.  So, between meetings...Corbin came home and we celebrated.  

According to Chesson and Anna Corbin, a party needs balloons, hats, and plates.  So we ventured out to get all the necessities!  

 There were even some wrapped presents....including a toy of his very own.  It's a remote controlled Apache helicopter.  He and Chesson were both very excited! 

The kids each picked out a balloon for Corbin.  Anna Corbin was convinced that he really wanted a pink one.  Sweet Girl.

Yay for snow

It doesn't snow too much here.  Even the prediction of snow can send the entire city into a frenzy.  We're just not set up for it.  

What to do when you've outgrown your snow boots and your rain boot....Target bags and duct tape!!  

And if you've outgrown your snow coat?  A fleece with your brothers rain jacket will work just fine thank you!

Walker James - 7 months

Yay for baby food.  Little man has really enjoyed eating!  That is not something we take for granted in this family!  Woo-hoo.  

The past few months Walker has been working hard. 

A few weeks ago he start sitting!  Yay Walker.  He seems so much older now that he can sit.  

I have to say...this is one cuddly baby.  He LOVES to snuggle....and you know what? I really love it too!

Christmas 2014

Chesson is 5, Anna Corbin is 3, and Walker is 6 months....wonderful ages to celebrate the wonder of Christmas.  It turns out I didn't take very man pictures of that wonder this year....so, you'll just have to trust me.

 We spent Christmas day at my parents house...again no pictures.  Strange.  Walker and our nephew Wesley were able to celebrate their first Christmas together!  Yay for cousins.

This boy....he was determined to learn to ride his new bike.  

After Christmas Betty Ann and Holt came for a quick visit.  Chesson and Anna Corbin loved all the attention and Walker always enjoys a good snuggle.  

Christmas Eve

Whew! We're a little behind here, so bear with me while I try to catch up:o)

Anna Corbin was feeling a little under the weather, so we skipped church but continued our tradition of making gingerbread house.  

This is serious business.  Chesson wanted his to look exactly like the one on the box.  A boy on a mission! Anna Corbin was a little less precise:) 

 My parents aren't scared of kid germs, so they joined us for dinner and decorating!  

 Walker's hair always looks so red when my mom is holding him.
